GENERAL RULES OF DISCIPLINE:
- 1.To acquire greater facility with the study of English, only English should be spoken in the school premises.
- 2.No student is allowed to form any group or attend meeting unless they are held by the school authorities.
- 3.St. Peter's Higher Secondary School being a Catholic institution, only Christian festivals are celebrated within the school campus and no other external form of worship will be allowed.
- 4.Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school justifies dismissal at any time of the year.
- 5.On sickness, which is injurious to other students, one may be asked to discontinue.
- 6.No act of indiscipline, insubordination, interference in the administration, disrespect to any religion or community shall be tolerated and delinquent may even be expelled from the school.
- 7.Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and other belongings. Mobile phone, ornaments and jewelry of any kind are not allowed in the school.
- 8.Pupils should not keep money, costly articles etc with them. The school does not take any responsibility in any case of loss or damage.
- 9.The school cannot be held responsible for accidents—minor/serious, to pupils during their stay in the school or while taking part in sports, co-curricular activities within or outside the school premises.
- 10.Any damage done to the school property must be made good by the pupils concerned.
- 11. and forging signature are serious faults and those found guilty are liable to serve punishment, even if it took place off the school premises.
- 12.Pupils on their way to and from school are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner.
- 13.Each student is to enter and leave class room in an orderly manner. They are to leave their class room in a single foot all time.
- 14.It is the responsibility of each class to see at the conclusion of class that all the windows are latched; lights and fans are switched off.
- 15.Chalk is never allowed to be taken from the classroom to be used for any purpose except for writing on the blackboard.
- 16.When moving through the school for second language, smart class, laboratory, computer, cultural programme etc., students are to move quietly and as quickly as possible.
- 17.Strict silence and great reverence are expected from the students during assembly prayer time and singing. A very serious view will be taken of any misbehavior at those moments.
- 18.Each student is personally responsible for keeping the school clean and taking care of the furniture. No one is allowed to scribble on the furniture, wall, black board etc.
- 19.Certificate and concession form etc. will be issued only three days after the application has been submitted in the office.
- 20.Each pupil must possess a school diary which should be brought to school daily.
- 21.Pupils must begin classes after the holidays on the re-opening day. Any student arriving later than a week is liable to forfeit his/her seat.
- 22.The use of drugs or chewing betel-nut, pan, smoking will result in immediate suspension from the school and possible expulsion.
- 23.Students are prohibited to give or take any things (article, letters etc.) to and from the class mates. This should always pass through the hands of the school authorities.
- 24.For the well being and smooth running of the school, the authorities may ask the guardian to withdraw his/her ward from the school without assigning any reason.
- 25.No pupil shall leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal.
